How we calculate
- Usable capacity = usable capacity, or nominal × an assumed usable share.
- Stored = the smaller of: your yearly export, or usable capacity × days the battery fills up.
- Used at home = stored × efficiency, never more than your import.
- Saving = used × import price − stored × export price (+ optional dynamic part).
- We calculate a low and a high scenario, hence a range. Not included: ageing, standby use, country-specific capacity or network charges.
